Currently the only open clinical trials we are aware of are RISUG trials, open only to local men living in India, and a trial of Gandarusa pill (justicia gendarussa) opening soon for Indonesian men in Indonesia. RISUG, Vasalgel, and Gandarusa are the only nonhormonal male methods we expect to be getting trials in 2012/2013.
If you live in one of these cities in India, then you are the envy of many men in the U.S., as you can already get RISUG! Contact the clinical trial sites directly to see whether you are eligible:
| If you live in India, are healthy, between the ages of 25-40, and have two or more children, you may already be able to get RISUG in one of the following cities: |
|
| Delhi | 1) L.N.J.P. Hospital, Dr. H.C. Das 2) All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Dr. V. Seenu |
| Udhampur | District Hospital |
| Jaipur | University of Rajasthan, SMS Medical College, Drs. N.K. Lohiya, T.C. Sadasukhi |
| Ludhiana | Medical College, Drs. B. Shah |

What if you don’t live in India or Indonesia? The first VasalgelTM clinical trial in the United States is expected to open in mid-2013. See MCIP’s RISUG/Vasalgel page, or Vasalgel’s page on Facebook, for more information. To get updates on Vasalgel’s progress in the U.S. and any clinical trials, to be notified of opportunities to contribute, or to express interest in financially supporting or investing in the social venture, sign up here.
